Astfel, ROeID va avea aplicabilitate la nivelul Uniunii Europene, oper\u00e2nd \u00een tandem cu o alt\u0103 ini\u021biativ\u0103 lansat\u0103 de MCID \u2013 SITUE (Sistemul de Interoperabilitate Tehnologic\u0103 cu \u021a\u0103rile Membre ale UE) platforma unitar\u0103 de identificare pentru statele membre europene.<\/p>\n
\u00cen trecut, procedura standard de verificare a identit\u0103\u021bii implica prezentarea unui document de identitate \u00een fa\u021ba unui func\u021bionar autorizat, care ulterior valida identitatea individului prin compararea fotografiei \u0219i a datelor relevante. Cu introducerea platformei digitale ROeID, s-a creat posibilitatea ca cet\u0103\u021benii s\u0103 \u00ee\u0219i autentifice identitatea \u00een mediul online folosind un singur set de creden\u021biale. Astfel, aplica\u021bia mobil\u0103 ROeID devine un element fundamental \u00een procesul de digitalizare a serviciilor publice.<\/p>\n
